They trucks they have are reasonablably priced and decent. Mostly Freightliners. You pick which truck you want. If you dont like any, you can get a rental till something comes up that you like. Except ..They seem to have quiet a few Mercedes benz engines with automatics, which I rejected. Those were going for $325 a week for 20 months with 6000 buyout at end.
Mine is a 07 Freightliner Century 10 speed, detroit engine. $375 a week for 36 months with 6000 buyout. if you have credit and downpayment buy it outside, but if you are like me, no credit no cash, its a way to get in. You can easily make the payments, but obviously will be overpaying. Good luck

It's not impossible to get over 3k miles on elogs, your friend is proof if that conquest. You just have to manage your time wisely, don't stop alot, your dispatcher gives you consistant miles and you're not sitting too long at shippers and receivers.

I didnt want to tell you exactly, to get your hopes up but my friend Elkan said he did 3700 miles in a week on Elog. I didn't calculate to see if possible. I just would chalk it up to a 8.5 day work week. It just depends on when you turn in paperwork. Maybe he missed getting paid on a load on a prior week. But I saw his settlement for a week and it showed the miles. And he is Consistently over 3000 except one week he went home for 3 days.
My paycheck at D and T after payments/ diesel was $2700 for 7 days, But like I said, they took extra payment last week since I missed deadline, charged last week me for diesel 550 that was really for this week and they didnt charge $600 in diesel i got this morning. So you have to take an average. I think mine was $1285 or $1385, but now its $1450.
$4457 check for 3 weeks plus 1000 in advances minus 600 diesel they didnt charge me = 4800 minus a couple tolls/scale and divide by three weeks is 1450 take home profit minus taxes at end of year. Hope this helps. dispatched loaded miles 8553. actual loaded and empty

Sounds like you guys are getting plenty of miles and doing pretty good on the lease deal but company drivers are only getting .31 a mile? Did I miss something or is that an old pay scale? Reading a lot of positive things about the company but .31 sucks if that is accurate?

Edit: I see that must of been an old scale I was looking at. When I clicked Driver Opportunities it took me to another web page and showed .35 for drivers with over 8 yrs. Thats better.

I talked to Darin this morning about the lease purchase. He told me $1700/month, and 500,000 to 550,000 miles. He told me it's completely up to the driver when they hit the house and how long before they head out again.

Sounded like they mostly run from the Midwest to the East.
