Hay Ho, I've been with Bay n Bay for a year now. And enjoying it all. I'm not a hard runner so this place is great. Pay is ok, be nice if they up it some but I get by. My runs are average 800/1000 miles. Mostly run 80 across to the east. Lot of lite loads with heavy broker loads back. I stay out for 3/4/5 weeks and just keep going. They don't bother me as long as the loads are on time. Only been late on 2 loads. They put me in a new 2015 Cascadia Evolution. Nice truck but the On Guard sucks!! Its a accident waiting to happen. So far though I'm happy with this company. People are great and the equipment is good. Pay is fair and I'm content. I'm on the dry van side, company driver. It's 35 cent a mile, 20.00 per extra stop, 13.00 wait time, 45.00 layover (just got 3 in 2 weeks). The extra's add up, my take home averages 450 per 1200 mile run. I can do 2 of them and a short run of 3 to 600 miles between. thus a 1000/1200 take home a week. but that's not every week so do get the wrong idea. some weeks work out to 600.00 all depends what you've got going. Pay sheets need to be in by 12:00 Monday. So if I run Thursday to a delivery on Monday at 11:30 and don't get the BOL signed and turned in then it'll be a short week. Took my first Vacation two weeks ago. Was out for 4 weeks then had 5 days vacation, that gave me 9 days off NICE. 2 weeks out 2 days off, 3 weeks out 3 days off, 4 weeks out 4 days off. Cap is 4 days. So I'm content here, as long as they are honest and don't short change me. I've found a Home till I retire. Remember though everything is up for change if I see fit. No wife, No kids, No home/apartment (I stay at my daughters when home) But I did get a 5th wheel View attachment 75510 That's for retirement.:biggrin_25520: Be Careful out there Drivers
My saying is,,,,, Choices you make, Dictate your life. Till next time

Glad to see the Bay n Bay thread still going strong. I've been with them, part-time, going on 6 or 7yrs. Nothing but good stuff.

Maybe on CO. side, but whatever you do DON'T lease. They are the definition of Fleece program, pathetic management as well.

I have to correct you...there are an awful lot of guys that I've seen paying off their leases each month (which I can't say is the same for other companies that offer lease purchase plans)....they seem to be pretty proud that guys pay off their trucks every month. Every party has a pooper...

Oh really, what do you call plenty? I was told by one of the office staff they had 21 quit in one week! That 3 a day! Bay & Bay lease program is a joke, lol.

I haven't been through their lease program, so I don't have any credibility, I am just reporting what I see in the quarterly newsletters....I would say there are at least 5 a quarter. That's better than nobody completing their lease purchase. I personally wouldn't lease on with anyone, I just think the whole idea is silly. Sorry you had bad luck, hope you are having better luck where you chose to bounce to. :headbang:

They probably sign on 3 new lease operators a week, so that's 5 out of 36, not a good average. They are greedy amateurs when it comes to LP.
