Yeah I already had my current gig lined up before I left Risinger. I think Risinger knew I was leaving because pretty much right when I did the application my miles picked up and I averaged 3800 miles a week the last month I was there. It didn't matter though because good miles was not one of the reasons I was leaving. I always got good miles. I just figured if I could work less and make more money that was the way to go.

That Jim Davis is a screwball. Tries to be everyone's buddy, but he's a not-so-harmless version of Michael Scott from The Office.

I was with them as o/o for 6 weeks and made no money. When u drive 2600, and take home 563.00. there's something wrong there. 1800 miles=$0 paycheck. As o/o you can not make it on less than $1200.00 take home pay. Never once came close to that.
In my opinion, they take from the driver and line their pockets. Only out for Risinger. I believe there's a Risinger tanker division out of Fla. that's company drivers or Risinger out of Morton Il. that's only o/o

The leases changed there after I started. When I leased on it was just a lease and I would never own it and I paid in .10 a mile for any maintenance issues including tires and everything. If it cost more than that or less than that for repairs all I had to pay was .10 a mile. The problem was they did not want to fix things that needed fixed. Major things.

About 6 months after I started they offered the option to change it to a lease where I would own the truck and be responsible for repairs but they were not going to repair the things that already needed to be repaired and I did not take that offer because I did not want to pay for the things that needed to be fixed that they should have had fixed but never did.

As far as I know all they do now is leases that are offered by outside companies but I don't know anyone that is still there.
