Stuck waiting to deliver a Sam's load in Columbia SC. Cannot deliver till 2200.
This week sucks

Would love to give you some of mine CD. Been awhile since I have run this hard. Wonder if its because I came out for the full 4 weeks this time. Am defintely ready for some HT!!!!!
Have had only 1 reset so far since this company believes in "if the trk ain't moving, aint making us no money"!!! They seem to keep me going, even with 4 and 5 hr days, till they get me to a meat plant.
Only have 7.75 hrs for today and tomorrow, but still, picking up a beer load tomorrow, then drive for a couple of hrs and wait till midnight when I start getting big hrs back.
Have a preplan already for picking up in Schyler, NE going to Fl. Better be a swap somewhere in there cause I don't think I can get there and back b4 HT on the 5th.

 

Back to work in the Morning I wanted to watch some Football, but if the truck aint moving then the money aint coming in!

Will be home for a few next week while JJ goes to SLC for Drill.

 

YEA!!! They unpreplanned me this morning on the FL load once I reminded them of my up coming HT. Miles would have been nice but really need some time off.

 

I am booked up for the weekend.
I delivered my load last night.
Met another driver at his house and delivered his load this morning.
Then just picked up a load to head to VA for tomorrow morning.
Then reloading at that location to head to NJ.
So far so good. But they screwed up on all the load times and every one is during my time I have to take a break.
So I am stuck at shippers for the whole weekend worth of breaks. I have to make some me time tonight or tomarrow morning and get a shower.

 

Sigh, just found out my load info is a maybe on the delievery time. Asked for a preplan and was told "we have to wait to see if they'll accept you in the morning". Really kind of ticks me off and wish they had had the balls to just tell me that up front.

 

Balls or Brains? Trouble is the weekend crews often don't or can't contact anyone who is actually a decision-maker. The Weekends are pre-scheduled and can't be moved or the receivers don't want to work too hard.

 

Central use to do that to me all the time. Pissed me off when I had to bust hump to get to a place only to be told you're 2 days early you will have to come back. and of course I was always too far away from a drop yard, so I'd end up sitting on it.

 

Well all I am taking a month off, at least I think it will be about a month. I am having gastric bypass surgery. My insurance got approved for the surgery, and I wanted to have it done ASAP. So I took a medical leave of absense from Werner, I will go back because I'm having a blast on walmart. Try to loose some of this weight so I won't be so fat I have to weigh on a CAT scale.

I have surgery Nov 11th, but will be in Aiken, SC from Nov 2nd, till the Dr releases me to go back to work.

If anyone is passing through on I-20 let me know, There is a truckstop at exit 11 that is never busy
