Supposed to be a cool change coming through on Thursday I think. Should be nice and cool in Utah.

 

I was reading a post today on FB about O/O's booking a load into an iffy lane My advice know the rates out before you go in or get a RT rate going in so you can choose to DH out or take an ordinary load back into a better freight area. I would personally want a RT rate and DH out but that's just how I run our truck.

 

That is a pearl of wisdom anyone booking their own loads should take to heart.

 

Is JJ still doing the short runs or are you back to the normal runs?

 

Not used to being in a truck stop, and it being so danged dark. Was supposed to get fuel here in Clearfield, PA but, there ain't no juice in this place. We're talking dark!!!! Being so dark, and with none of the drivers having there parking lights on, made it just a tad bit of a PITA, for backing into a spot. Hope the power in the am when I get up and dang...... I'm hungry!!!!

 

His little dedicated runs finished today It will be good to have him home for a few, But we will miss the easy money.

 

Don't you just love these days? It makes us appreciate the good ones a whole lot better. It just seems when these days come along it is at the worst time. Hope it gets better.

 

Maybe it will come available again.

 

Yes it will and probably sooner then I would like but you know the saying strike while the iron is hot!

 

Seems that last nights problem was caused by a ....... drum roll please!!!!! A trucker who made a turn to short. Can you imagine that????

I am so ashamed and discouraged, by one of my cousins, 2nd cousin that is. Ok, so I'll give it to her that she's only in her early 30's but........ not to know who Lauren Bacall is, is, is, is........ (at a loss for words). lol
