JJ's Place

so this is how my week played out.

left a little late on sunday afternoon, but load delivered monday. and bounced empty 200 miles for load back. deliver load tuesday. and normally spend the night at home. spent 2 hours reinstating my license and was sent on another load. no hometime. delivered load wednseday. waited till end of day before getting my next load. SPEND THE NIGHT IN SMOKE FILLED ONTARIO. pick up load on thursday when i could have delivered. but delivered friday. go pick up my next load and drop it off at my home city. grab trailer from repair shop and was supposed to drop if off and bobtail back to yard. instead i had to wait for load which was quick and park it for driver to pick up. just as i'm about to bobtail back to yard. my load that i picked up earlier gets pulled from me. and i get to go back to strap a different load to which i'm out of straps by the way. and take THAT load out.

yep, spend my day delivering ONE load and picking up TWO loads and transporting a just repaired trailer.

and my load coming back on monday, well, somebody better be coming to the shop for HOPEFULLY 2 tarps that are useable. before i leave on sunday. AND, throwing some straps in my truck becuase i'm out of straps.

 

It looks like TN is going to have record rainfall this month and the snow is flying in the western states ( Snowwy) On a different note JJ is now a member at a gym in town and is on a diet lol.

 

Get twin memberships at that gym Jess? Can't let JJ go there alone and ogle all those women!!!!! Gotta watch his blood pressure. LOL

I've passed tired and am at dog tired now, rapidly approaching dead dog tired!! Have done 518 miles, 3 drops, and at my pickup.

 

#### Pan a work out would probably kill me and then who would dispatch JJ lol.

Pan sounds like you need to move to the dark side and get a truck and Van.

 

Still running on a recap. Going on 3 weeks now. Gotta deliver in the St louis area tomorrow. Hope things are calm when I go there.

 

I hope freight picks up next week it was slow this week, JJ has his loads but I took on another driver this week and really couldn't have picked a worse time.

Maybe take on one more driver but spent 6 hrs today on the phone looking for loads.

 

Thought most women liked talking on phone.LOL

 

Lol not for that long rates they offered today were depressing!
