Kinda DOE and where you want to live. If you stay in the states they ask you to work 3 weeks on 3weeks off due to flight time to Anchorage, AK and back. If you move to Alaska they ask you to work 2 on/2off. You can stay extra and during the summer they may ask you due to the tight timeline.

Starting out if you make 18 to 22 per hour your looking at 1200 to 1800 per week. If your experienced enough you could start around 1500 to 2200 per week. 6 weeks is the most the big companies will let you stay due to safety (safety really BIG thing) but an ok year could be worth 25000 take home with 30 weeks off up to 80000 with the 20 weeks off. You do have to buy your ticket to Anchorage

Have not managed to make it on here for a few days.
I am sitting in the middle of nowhere in KY at the moment. Ended up running nights the past few days.
The ice and snow here last night sucked. I was dead head from Wytheville VA to here (Lebanon KY).
Shut it down for 3 hours so that they could put down some salt.

Now I am loaded up and headed to farmville NC.
They had only wanted to pay 540 miles on this, but I got it changed to 650. And they now know that I probably will not be there till tomorrow evening.
Hopefully I do not have any issues tonight.
Does not look too bad, accept the stretch thru the pass on I-40 may get nasty.

Called the recrutier and I am set up to go to Lewiston, ID and start training on Jan 17th. Hoping to get enough with tax returns to pay off the school bill and start looking for a decent company at the 6 month mark all depending on how Swift treats there drivers. Only time will tell
