looks like your at the top of the list to drive for a new owner named Andres . Sam was puting in a good word for u to him . now remimber this he is a new owner this is his first truck and he has not established himself or his equipment with road link yet. now with you still being green and him being even greener things may not start off smooth as both of you will be learing the ropes the in and outs of the co and the port. and the dispatchers know this most of your first runs will be short ones till you prove that you can get the job done and his equipment is also up to the task meaning no weekly breakdowns. i have seen Andres truck it is a freightliner classic long nose. year im not sure but i do know it has been maintained by his brother in law david who is the mechanic on my truck i know him well . good luck and hope it all works out for you.

i can not honestly say it just depends on what runs are dispatcheed to you how quick you learn to navigate the port and how hard your willing to run that means running more than 1 log book. i would say itll probally say itll take a couple months to start consistantly making that a week

1bad's wife here. If you can make that a week he is moving to your O/O. He has week's he makes that then week's we brings in $200. Remember this is trucking and no matter what they try to blow up your $$$ nothing is for sure unless your a day cabber and getting paid by the hour. And if you find one of those let me know I would love set money coming into the house every week!

Ok thanks for letting me know...Right now I work at the Best Buy d.c. here in Dublin and after reading that I think I just might stay where i am for a awhile..There I know I got a steady paycheck coming in every 2 weeks..... I cant afford to make 200-300/wk with the bills that I have. I make about 500 a week at Best Buy so I guess I better sit tight or maybe just go back over the road...what do you think?

So many drivers I talk with say they actually make more than that so I guess they lie a little huh? Well I might just need to stay where I am or either go otr cuz I cant afford to make less than what I make now...the reason I wanted to get back into trucking was for more money and because I love to drive but I guess I better sit tight huh?

If it takes two logbooks to make only $600/week I would definitely look at another job. Running multiple logbooks is a fool's game. Don't play it!
