I have been with them out of Shelbyville for just over 3 months now. NOt always the most organized company and our terminal seems to get all of the hand me down trucks but the money definitely is there if you are not afraid of work. From what i understand their big boom period is right around tax time and I have been told its almost more work than a person would want and thats when you can really set yourself up good for the year on your pay. Its back to school time for the colleges right now and we have gotten a little busy. Corsicana definitely is not a job for those that are afraid to get out of the drivers seat and do some work. Its all multi stop loads and tailgating the mattresses if not outright unloading at some customers. Sometimes you have to take the bull by the horns and do it yourself for the sake of time. They pay by the hour on any loads under 400 miles as well. I dont care for the not gettiong stop pay but as said above $50,000 a year is not out of the question if you play your cards right and thats without doing multiple weeks at a time out on the road without getting home. Far from being a perfect job but its definitely paying the bills and then some and it has definitely given me a chance to get myself back into pretty decent shape.

    Thanks for the update.

That does not sound too bad but i'm glad i found the gig i have now.
Delivering to movie theaters and everything is on pallets.
We have electric pallet jacks and lift gate trailers.
    2011 assigned truck and trailer.
Keys to all the stops so we deliver when we want.

I used to haul furniture years ago doing tail gate stops and home delivery....not much fun....

not much fun at all. Your gig definitely sounds better than mine. Being able to deliver when yopu want instead of having to do it between the hours of 10 and 5 would be nice. What company are you pulling for?

We are a small specialized carrier that supplies the Carmike Movie Theater chain.
The Company is called Showtime. We are based out of Moore OK.

We have a total of about 15 trucks.
We rotate routes and have the same runs all the time.

I had a 4 day weekend this week but will hit it hard tomorrow and get 2 runs in by Friday.
I usually get about 2 nights at home during the week and off Friday and Saturday,Been a real good job so far.
