Hi there. If you go to youtube, there is a guy on there who was posting videos on his experience with Usa Truck. Check him out, his channel is ''flyingeagleone.'' The videos are titled ''Usa Truck'' There are 8 videos.

USA Truck is a good one to go with to learn. LIke any other company because they're a training company, you don't get the cadillac of treatment. But you will get good training foundations to build on. That is where I started and has overall been productive for me. Been driving now for five years. Best advice is to stay open to all tips and training from your trainers and be attentive. The day you think you've learned it all is the day you run off the road and God forbid take an innocent with you!

Yep keep that attitude, always be willing to learn, dont listen to the drivers that sit around whineing about things and you will do fine.I worked for them for a year and a half and had no issues with them.Going back to work for them now

Well, I'm at the end of my training period with USA Truck, so I'll give you my two cents.
My trainer was awesome and I couldn't have asked for a better one. He really cared that I learned everything I could and how to be safe on the road.
I spent 7 weeks on the road with him though because of several factors. We were snowed in twice, once in CT and again in OK. Then he had 5 days of home time in GA. I spent those days relaxing in a hotel.
Right now, I'm in Van Buren, AR for final upgrade to my own truck. Yes, its a starter company but you get what you put into it.
Good luck, be safe and have fun!venne Thanks this. -
usa fired one of their trainers as a trainer for actually trying to train drivers (4 or 5 mnths ago). Supposedly "Bob" was a hard ###; in reality he was a real good guy and actually taught his students what it takes to be a driver, not a trucker.
Hint: usa doesn't want their drivers to know what they are doing, they just want them to get in a seat and go. if they could figure out how to legally talk dot into allowing them to get chimps a cdl and drive, they would do so. (we will see this next in the near future )Last edited by a moderator: Feb 22, 2011
