Schneider has Operating centers, or as we call them, OC's...scattered all over. Most of them have fueling, as well as a place to drop off / swap trailers...drop off tractors, maintenance. Some (not sure how many) have cafeterias in them as well as stores, supply desks, laundry...etc.

Schneider's website has all that information on their website. (From the homepage --> Drivers --> Locations.)

It seems they (Schneider) really want to discourage applicants. I am in Phx. and was told IF I want to have an app. considered, I would need to move and buy or rent a place to live in that town (Fontana is the example she used), obtain a license from that state, and then and only then would they accept my application. No job guarantee, nothing... just for them to accept my application. Why in god's name I asked her, would I move, buy or rent a home, change licenses, just so they would consider my application? That is insane! I then asked her where are they hiring and she refused to tell me! Instead she said "pick a city and I'll tell if..." like this was a game. So I said are you hiring in the Southeast? She asked "southeast where?" Lmao... Looks like Schneider is not an option.

What are the biggest shippers in your area.
Walmarts, P+G, etc.

Who runs the routes and has a school. Swift, Werner, JB etc.

Schneider has drop lots damn near everywhere = another place to park.

-a big plus when you work for one of the Bigs.
