bulk drivers are allowed to have a stache as long as it doesn't pass the corner of the mouth.

Speaking of Schneider, what is a Leader? Some type of a boss?

They arent called leaders...but DBLs...Dedicated (or something) Business Leader. Basically a fancy word for dispatcher. With Schneider their dispatching is done via computer via satellite from the driver to Green Bay. However, if you need to talk to someone regarding various issues / concerns, you would talk to them. The last time I talked to mine was a couple of weeks ago regarding winter training.

Green Bay is correct. They have a terminal there, which is across town from the headquarters.

I was going to disagree but you said Wisconsin. Yes, in Green Bay Im sure the DBL's work out of the Terminal there. For the rest of the country, your DBL works out of a particular terminal / Operating Center. Out here in ...where I live...my DBL is based in Colorado where our account is based. If I was running OTR, they would probably be based out of Fontana, CA or Portland. Can't remember if French Camp has an OC or what is up there.

Although its funny when emergency maintenance tells me to go the nearest OC and Im in Utah, and the nearest one is like California.

I just got off the phone with Schneider in Green Bay Wisconsin. They said that they just had a big meeting and that all hiring has been cancelled. They did have one opening, and that was for Tanker, but because I won't shave off my mousteache they won't hire me for it. I was told to call them back between mid december and january. They will keep my application on file.

Gah - I has this phobia about sharp objects near my face... I can overcome it, but I think I'd rather work for Swift than shave
