    I am still doing about 2500 miles a week so it has not been that slow.

    Just picked up in Bridgeton,Mo with a 2nd pickup in Sedalia,Mo going to Roanoke,Tx for as soon as I get there.

    Been out of driving for 5 years or so. Does ACT take drivers who have not driven for that long? From what I have read on this site, they seem like a company I could work for and be treated right.

    Dropped in Roanoke,Tx then ran empty to Lawton,Ok and picked up a load I already dropped in KC,Ks at GM. No empty trailers here though. At least 20 loaded ones but no empties.

    Question: my boyfriend has been with ACT for a couple of weeks now. He seems to have a lot of sitting time in between loads. He is wondering if this is normal. He hates just sitting.

    Drop and hook delivery in Lexington,Tn then went empty to Dickson,Tn to get a load from another driver so he could go home. Load is going to Lawton,Ok.

    It can be sometimes. That is one of the only things I don't like about the company. They need to get more efficient with dispatching loads sometimes especially if it is true we are going to have to all go to elogs. There can be a lot of time wasted while the 14 hour clock is burning away. Sometimes it can be a few hours.
