    Tyson

I've been with Tyson for 5 years now because I get pretty decent miles, (2500-2700 miles per week), good health benefits, ($56 weekly for family), yearly bonus around $1000 with no accidents or tickets. I go to safety meetings every other week which keeps me informed on the latest trucking news, plus we eat free at meetings at places like Western Sizzlin.
Another incentive is you can build up your miles and get some free neat stuff. Right now I'm close to getting a free LCD HD tv with the miles I've built up.
Tyson uses Macks, Internationals, and a few Volvo's governed at 65-67 mph.
Tyson has around a 1000 drivers and I would guess more than 60% of them have been here more than 5 years.
Tyson will also hire recent graduates from pre-approved schools.
But like any other company, it's what fits your needs the most.

    Drive safe everyone.

I applied and was offered a job driving for them a few years back out of New Holland, Pa. (I went with a flat bed company instead). They are known to be a good company though.

Tyson is currently using Macks and Internationals. There are some Volvo's but they are being traded in because lease is about to expire. The trucks are governed at 65-67.

Since you live in the Pittsburgh area, you would be running out of the New Holland Plant. You would still be running 48 states. Tyson will provide you with a bus ticket to Springdale, Ar. for a 1 week paid orientation. After orientation, they will assign you a truck and you go from there.

I thought they only hired 100 or so miles from their plants.
