Well.. I didn't see smoke getting in, but I could smell a burning smell.
Cummins reset some sort of computer thing and told me that several error codes were showing, though my dash and road relay showed me no errors.
I purchased a carbon monoxide detector. I'll put that bad boy to good use!
I'm just going to keep an extra eye on the exhaust and see how it goes.

Volvo has had a problem (LOL OK more than one) with their exhaust systems breaking. I'm guessing that your pipe to the filter is broken, and when it regens, ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE, and it is a royal ###### to figure it out because it only does it when it is regenning and slowing the engine down. This happens to all the engines, and trucks, but to get it to smoke really good, be rolling and have it go into regen and then slow the truck and row through the gears, you'll have a smoke cloud pour out from under the hood.
Since they didn't pull the heat wrap, they won't see the crack and resetting just clears the need for the engine to regen so guess what, problem solved! You can do a work around by removing the engine from being able to do a regen while rolling cycle and let the filter clog up.
Oops, did I say that? I mean they'll have to fix it then!

Here we go... about to bobtail to Columbus yard, then grabbing a trailer to take to Sheboygan, WI. We'll see how long it takes to pop that exhaust again.

Sheboygan's just up the road from me (an hour or so)...I'll watch for the smoke cloud and listen for the swearing.

Incredible! So, these guys think that you would rather be calling them on the phone and complaining and with the truck on the shop than driving and making money... that you are making this up???!!! Knight and Cummings are looking very bad.

Okay, I'm well behind on this one, I just watched a couple of your videos...the part about tissues is priceless...I've found Lysol/Clorox wipes are lifesavers, as well.

I haven't seen/smelt any smoke or heard any swearing (other than mine, which doesn't count)...life must be good again?
