I have an interview with Sysco in NJ in a couple days. I was curious to see if any NJ Sysco drivers could give me some input. I really appreciate any comments or information. Thanks.

The starting pay is 19.00 per hour, but you must download your truck, it's a 6 day working week, it's a union job and you must drive in NYC.

Man years ago I was a receiving coordinator @ Birds eye foods and I got to say some of the floor loaded Sysco loads were the worst. I used to dread unloading them sometimes...lol

Sorry didnt mean to hijack your thread!

They give you up to 11 hours to finish your route so I guess close to 70 hours a week. I was told that at the 6 month mark it goes up to 21per hour but nothing on top rate.

anynidea how they come up with 11 hours to do the run? what happens if a guy delivers all day then decides to take breaks? he easily could get 12-14 hors a day. just a little confused on the 11. thanks again.
