yup,
LTL company (I've had as many as 13 stops) .40 cpm solo, .48 cpm split team, 20.00 per stop per driver.
they have newer tractors, just got in 10 new cascadias that are 10 speeds
they have some pro stars (auto shift)
they pay for hotels on layovers, ect
they have paid holidays
they have paid vacations
scales and tolls are paid (reimbursed)
they offer health/life insurance
it's non forced dispatch, take time off when ever you want to
direct deposit weekly (no paper checks)
you have to have hazmat
you have to have a working cell phone
it's a family owned company
really great group of people (down to earth)
with that said...I've worked there almost a year solo for 7 months and avg 2500-2900 a week.
I have been running team since and avg 5100 going to ca we get more if we go to wa -
I know this is a very old thread, but was looking into this company and spoke with them by phone yesterday. They sound like a great company and will hire me straight out of school. I would like to hear from another driver who currently works for Palmetto state. I'm also looking at Greatwide freight in Anderson,SC & G&P trucking in Spartanbug,SC if anyone would be willing to inform me on one of these also. The more I can hear from different drivers that have knowledge of one of these the easier it will be for me to narrow them down. Any help appreciated!
