Well i still own my truck and do ok with it .. But theres a lot less to deal with at OD just drive and get paid. I would go to OD if i were yall. Its a great company you ain't gonna do any better. I see your from ATL theres a company in cartersville that pays .59 a mile for teams there ok pays good . But all in all OD is a better company terminal to terminal no dealing with customers man don't get any better than that .

would you happen to be talking about quest? If so, we've considered them too but odfl sounds a lot more intriguing with 2 days home per week and terminal to terminal only work

OD bought out Utah-Wyoming a few years ago. The guys who worked for UW had to start all over, including applications. They were not all kept by OD. And the ones that were, as I said, started at the bottom of the barrel.

That being said, the guy who used to run the local operation for UW is now running it for OD. I haven't talked to him in quite a while, but the last time I did, he was extremely happy with them.

So many of these LTL companies are so much alike in so many ways. And yet some of their differences can be huge.

    Juice 84.

Have a hunt in the Odfl.com site and find "personnel manager" or someone similar and send them a concise email stating your intent - they'll reply, then cc it to who you need to talk to. Blow a bit of smoke in their vents about what a great company they are, and a bit of smoke in your own vent about what amazing employees you'll make too.

Phone calls don't often get you too far, they can't ignore the paper trail left by emails through corporate.
