No problem, am drinking quite a few myself. Am stuck here till Tuesday but hey, they're willing to pay for 1 night in a motel, plus some....whoever knows how much.... layover pay. Not sure about the motel idea tho. Got everything I need in the trk, and am not sure their cable would be any better than my satellite set up.

What can you tell us about experience needed. I know some food places put their drivers in motels while on their route; how does MBM work. Thanks

I worked for MBM food service out of Salisbury NC. Our main customer was hardees and a few Rallys. We had few routes that were just tailgate, most were roll ins. Most routes were 1.5 days, not alot of backhauls. Also, if you had 8 deliveries 1 day and 5 the next half day, most times the all stops will take you when you get there. So i use to start at 11pm and running straight thru be done by 5 or 6pm the next day. about 3-4OO miles 11-12 stops straight thru. He is the kicker, Id get done 5/6pm after working 17-18 straight hours, get back to terminal 7/8 pm and they would BEG me to go back out at 11, the same night and do it again on a different route. EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!! You can never run legal at that place.

Some centers pay for a motel every night after the first night on a route, ours does'nt. We get a motel every night for a team route ( not very many of them ). Also if they screw up your backhaul and you don't pick it up till the next day they get you a motel, i've had that happen a couple of times. As far as exprience you just have to have one year of tractor/ trailer driving expirence.
