They only get you your permit in Conley. They don't tell you that unless you directly ask. Kicking around on the forum it seems that they were having trouble getting recruits to pass the cdl test in GA. Look forward to meeting you bama kid

It's like 44 hours to SLC. I recommend some entertainment. iPhone, iPad, anything really. My name is James. See you in Conley.

i have a question and might have been answered already, but I have read too many threads to remember...I'm all set to start school whenever I get my glasses back and I'm trying to get everything ready to go. I have a fold up suitcase that is about 20 x 20 when folded and zipped, would that be ok to use or do I need something else? thanks in advance for the info

Everyone says to use a soft sided duffel bag during your training. Helps with the limited space in the truck when sharing with the trainer.

Keep in mind that most trainers, me included, don't have a lot of extra room. Tell my students they can have 2 of my small cabinets and the rest they get to sleep with. The bunks is long enough to lay down and have a duffel bag at your feet, just not 4 duffel bags. Pack light, you won't need as much for training as when you get solo. You will get me right after training is complete and can pick up all your stuff you want then.
