You still with Climate Express? I put in an app and am waiting to hear something this week. Just wondering if you were making any money over there anymore?

I had to leave due personal reasons at home. They treated me great and everyone was very nice and helpful. It looks as if they have replaced almost all of their older Volvos with brand new ones. They did open a brand new terminal in Union. I didn't get to see it, but I heard it is nice. They have good trailers with auto inflate systems. They use the XATA communication system and are on paper logs. I believe all the new trucks, at least at the time, we're coming with electric apu units.

The only drawback I could find was forced per diem. I was told I was going to be getting .34 cents/mile. On my pay stubs, I was only getting .25/mile and a .07/mile per diem. So that might be something to ask if they take .02/mile to pay the per diem.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like it is a decent company. I am not so sure about the electric apu units though. I have never used one but I have read some bad reviews about them. I will be sure and ask about the per diem though and thanks for the heads up on that.
