I'm trying to create a list of Companies that permit pets. This post is not intended to be a debate on the pros and cons of taking your pet on the road.

List company Name, type of pets permitted (or restricted pets, ie. cats), weight limits, costs, both deposit and per week/mile etc. Additional info such as kennels provided at terminals or the like. Basically anything pertaining to a companies pet policy that someone looking for a job may want to know. Thanks a bunch!

Why do you care if I want to try and do it better. I found the list, it's outdated and lacks detail.

Con-way Truckload allows pets. Dog or Cat.
I don't think there is a weight limit, seen some big dogs.
$300 non-refundable, taken out in installments.
Also, they deduct a penny a mile, BUT as long as you maintain fleet avg or above on mpg's you get it back at end of month.
Only thing is, you can not allow said pet to affect your ability to pick up and delv loads, or go in/out of Canada.
We haul out of some chemical companies that do not allow pets on property.
I have a small dog, and I pet her in her carrier and pet her in bunk with curtains closed.
Works most of time, but one company in particular looks in truck, but they allow you to leave in carriers, by their scale.

Butler Transport allows pets. May be a deposit, but may not be one. They are real pet friendly...

After running the highways and byways of this country the last 30 years most companies do allow animals of some kind. Just look for yourself as you pass other trucks.

    US Xpress allows pets
$500 Non-refundable fee taken out in 10 weekly installments and $10 a week thereafter. They have kennels at the terminals and you can take small pets inside the drivers lounge inside a carrier.
