I never pictured myself up talking an automatic til I drove a 465 Detroit in a 2013 Cascadia set at 76 with the pedal and 69 with the cruise. Spun it to LaHabra CA from Pennsauken NJ with a pharmacal load , wt 11000lbs , and LOVED the heck out of it , LAZY MAN or SPOILED ! take your pick I'll take lazy as long as being spoiled comes along with it.
The Jake breaks in this truck held me 80000 total gross with 3/4 tank of fuel across I-68 in WV & MD at 68 to 72 and only twice needed to switch to manual tap the break and drop to 9th , then sit back and let Big Jake do his thing. Up hill 80000 the cruise kept you in business til 30mph , so about 33 again switch to manual drop it to 6th and hold it with the pedal at about 28 to 30 . A few more horses and I believe even across 68 would have been a breeze. It was short lived I got 5 weeks in it as a new hire and was told to clear out into a 06 intl with 630k . It would not have held my stuff and there was no room for my Fridge. i either threw it out or quit and loaded up a 1 way rental . It was fun when it lasted , the co. was hiring in a team and they needed it for them. So here I am looking for another sweet gig. Any suggestions , I did say sweet , newer truck 70+ pulls the hillls and Jake works too. Oh yeah and no q-com . I know , I want to leave with a loaf of bread in 1 arm and a sweet pie in the other , and get to eat both as I'm goin down the road.
