Arrived in Bloomsburg, PA on Sunday October 7. I went to the counter and gave my name and then was greeted like a VIP. They gave me a meal voucher and off I went. The hotel was great and the room even better. Monday morning we were picked up right on time and taken to the terminal. The day started with breakfast and introductions and then the usual: Drug Test, Physical, Paperwork, and Road Test. After all of this we went over the company policies, E-logs, and Qualcom. Tuesday we went over the Smith System and were assigned our trucks. I was very pleased with the whole process. Wednesday morning they cut us loose with our first loads. They are very concerned with safety and violations.

My first load went from Bloomsburg to Denver, PA when I was empty there I picked up in Carlisle, PA to Perrysburg, OH. When I was empty there I picked up in Piqua, OH. and delivered to Flanders, NJ then came home for the weekend. I will keep you all posted. So far so good.

What kind of truck are you driving? How nice is it?

Please do. They are on my short list of companies to apply to if I ever want (or need) to go back out on the road.

I am driving a 2006 Freightliner. I will only have this for a month because they sold all of these. They just brought 150 new freightliners. I will be going into a 2012. The second week is complete and I had a real good week. So far so good.

    Voyager,
We are on E-logs and they are very picky about not going over your hours. They do not like us going over our hours. We also use Qualcom.

Just curious, they have ads down here in SC. They don't have ez pass? Also, do they tell you where and when to fuel and which routes you have to drive? Are the truck speeds set at 62? Thanks

    BFL,
They do have EZ Pass. You can route yourself and fuel when you want. They do have a list of fuel stops that are approved, they seem to be the big Truck Stops(TA, Pilot, Loves, and Petro). The trucks are governed at 65.

Thanks for the reply, doesn't sound too bad. Is SC a good area for them? I see their trucks occasionally and was wondering. I'd like something home weekly and was considering them. Keep the posts coming ad thanks again

    Thanks.

Good to hear about their HOS policy. I have always preferred to run legal.

How many miles per week are you running on average.
