    starting to get duckies in a row for leaving. gonna pack light on the advice of my trainer. he said take about a weeks worth of clothes. dont wanna be overpacked . sound good? got a sleeping bag and some warm clothes plus coat and gloves and such.

    hey guys, im looking into getting my tanker/double triple/hazmat and hazmat tank endorsements along with my TWIC card. is there anything else i should get?

    Dafuq do you need all those for?! I will never do double/triple. Personal choice. Hazmat pays more, but I would make the company pay for it. It's expensive to maintain. Twic is good because there's always port work to do. Don't get any endorsement that you won't end up using. It's easy enough to get them added later.

    ehh i just want em. specially tank and hazmat. i THINK swift will reimburse for hazmat.

    Tanker is a pain in the rear. Bless those guys that do it, because when that stuff sloshes around, or if its baffled then it just rocks you forward and back, forward and back, forward and back. >.<

    I got them all, tests were easy and it didn't cost me any more. Swift paid for my HAZMAT, but did not pay for TWIC. Good luck.

    Hey Marky how things going? Trying to keep up with things but kind of hard Mentor likes to keep rolling. ALso I can"t post from my phone. Finally got a break today sitting in El Paso Terminal with a #### load of other driver's. Hard to adjust to sleep pattern I'm so used to getting up at 5 every morning. Keep the post's coming can't wait till we get to hear about your journey on the road. Take care and drive safe.

    thanks guys. thats good to hear.

    probably gonna go to the dmv tomorow or maybe wednesday and get started on the rest of the endorsements and twic card. not gonna get bus or passenger tho

    marky get the hazmat and doubles/triples tanker if u ever leave swift it sure does look good on a resume.. i,ve got'em all but never used doubles/triples or tanker... also start the process of getting your passport.... twic is costly but nice to have good luck buddy
