    get a DOT physical before u go. it cost me 40$ in millington to get 1. ask your recruiter what the fees will be for ur state. if u have a DOT physical from a concentra facility swift will accept it. just double check everything with ur recruiter

    hey marky, i got mine at my family physician and she completed all the dot forms needed for the physical. Will this fly with swift or it has to be one of there approved places?

    got ahold of swift a while ago. im sposed to call on the 7th for ticket information and then leave the 9th and start road training the 10th.

    Good info all.

    I got my DOT physical and card this past Friday. It was at a US Healthworks facility nearby that my recruiter recommended. If anyone needs the breakdown of what is covered in the DOT physical feel free to ask.

    I was lucky in that I saw my personal doctor a few hours before and he signed off on my cpap. I brought the doc's note and the cpap printout with me and the DOT doc signed right off on it. She did however manipulate my balls with cold hands while she sat like a baseball catcher on her little spinny seat. An awkward moment but I got my DOT card.

    hey all. at the hotel, got here a bit later than expected due to weather. despite saying that a cab would take 2 to 3 hours to get from the bus station in burnsville to the hotel it took maybe 90 minutes. snow and roads gotworse as we got closer to minnesota. have a day off today im assuming thanks to the weather. staying at the intown suites in burnsville, mn.

    will keep ya updated :)
