We are interested in the best companies to drive team for (hiring from the West coast)? Would especially appreciate companies that hire out of southern California. My husband and I live in San Diego; his co-driver lives right outside of Riverside.
Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide.

I would say it depends on what yyour husband and his team mate want out of a company. US Xpress, Conway, and Pride have the miles for teams in CA.

my company does, Earl L. Henderson Trucking. They are located by St. Louis, MO but over 90 percent of our freight is midwest to west coast. We have a drop yard in Fontana. Pay and hometime is good.

I live in San Marcos and see a Crete truck/trailer every weekend parked near my house. Don't know his gig (regional ,whatever) and not sure what Crete's doing as far as teams. I think WEL out of Wi. comes down to San Diego often. TWT out of Spokane runs teams, but, you'll just be doing west coast. They have a yard in Bloomington. A sweet gig could be Kennesaw out of Atlanta, Ga. that does a lot of Ga./Ca. turns, however, you might not be able to have home time here in Ca. Not sure if you want team operation for all 48 or just west coast.

Pride, James H. Clark & Son, Godfrey, Giltner.... all of which are "smaller" companies based out of Utah and Idaho, but run a lot through all of the Western states.

Kennesaw hard to get miles with. High turn over and lots of sitting.

Gordon has a NV/CA/AZ fleet and a terminal in Rancho Cucamonga.
