All I know of them is that they have cameras pointed at the driver
marty1993 Thanks this. -
the pay is good, miles are average, run a lot of NE and yes they do have camera's and they do point at the driver and point forward also, they are not recording always, they only record 12 second clips and it has to be activated by locking the brakes up or jarring the truck, anything else just ask
marty1993 Thanks this. -

Another 2centsworth... I've been gone from CT about 9 yrs. but was there for 12 and it was a good company overall. I'm sure a lot has changed since then but I bet they're still good folks to work with. Family oriented for sure. I'd probably still be there but moved-up to far better position at private carrier...

24http://www.drivecam.com/video/case-study-cargo-transporters This is what Cargo is using. Listen carefully. This camera is monitored 24/7 in Cal.. It has audio as well as video. I was driving with my ex and while off duty we had words in the truck and people other than he and I knew what was said. They send this via cell towers every 24 hours and it is viewed by the company for issues as they call them. They tell you it only records 4 seconds before and 8 seconds of an incident, but if you listen to the video you can see they clearly admit they can and do use it otherwise. Can you say violation of privacy rights. Look at 2:05 and 2:40 through 3:08. 3:40 through 3:45. At 4:11 you hear him say "and an ear"..... Actually just listen to the whole thing, yes they use it for coaching, which affects safety bonuses.

I'm going to go ahead and call BS on your entire post.
Last year I had at least two "coaching sessions". One was in person and the other I had to call in for. In both situations I was following too closely. I also "hit" a truck in a truck stop (rubbed my trailer against his) no damage to our equipment and he never reported it to his company. I got a full safety bonus.
If some one was watching or more importantly listening to the camera 24/7 I think ALL the drivers would have been fired a long time ago. We a have bad days and we all vent and maybe have some words of frustration while on a phone call
to top that people in the office at Cargo have said that they will NOT fire anyone because of what they are saying if/when "caught" on camera as long as its not us giving the bird to some one else (may have been a joking addition). -

Only if they tell the truth about them. When they tell you they don't record all the time, only when there is an "incident" such as a wreck, then they are withholding information that you would use to make the decision to work for them or not. So it is foul.

How can you call Bs when Cargo in the video they made states the very things, with the exception of the issue I had, in it. Drive Cam posted the video and other information themselves. So if it's BS then Cargo and Drive Cam are the ones BSing. Sounds like you are looking for brownie points from Jerry, you probably need them if you are hitting trucks. You probably did get your full bonus. If you pay out of pocket for any damages they do give you the bonus. And I never said they fired anyone, but you did get coached and it will be on you record when you leave and can be obtained by another company if they ask.
