The hubby and I are thinking of going over to this company. The recruiter made it sound to good to be true. Excellent pay and miles according to them. I want to hear it from any drivers present or past. We are at a great company now but the pay is about .16 less than this place is offering. I just want some insight and make sure we are making the right decision. Thanks!!!
K.L Harring...good or bad???

I've never worked for them, but they aren't far from where I live and travel, and every time I see one of their trucks they are clean and look to be very well maintained.

Don't get lied to or played on words this company controls your every move even when to go to the bathroom. He's looking for desperate drivers who never had a good paying job or have dings on their records. If you like being told when and where you can stop and it's a minimum of 4 1/2 hrs to 7 hrs on all loads. No exceptions. It's for security for hauling alieve citricell and some high value cancer treatment. You also have to call in your every move even if your stuck in traffic to dispatch and a monitoring agency. You will not be able to pull over in a snow storm or if you need to check a defect on equipment because security always comes before safety; the only way they can secure their freight is if they have drone like drivers. The dispatchers are all rude and you will do 350 to 600 mile team runs some having to stop at a safe zone at midnight for 3 hrs so u don't get there early. No demurage is paid and you will do local work at mileage pay. Dollar general is 2 miles down the road and they will have you deliver someone elses load at times and it pays a little over 2 dollars for a minimum of hour and a half if your lucky sometimes 4 hours. Solos are allowed to run team runs illegally and get patted on the back and teams who miss a turn or don't make the phone call correctly will get docked 2 cpm for 3 months and fuel bonuses taken away. That's for both team drivers even tho one is in the bunk. The owner has control issues and needs meds. The poor drivers that don't know the difference what a good job is and slavery have actually let the owner install Porta potties where a drawer was so they now can crap where they eat and sleep. There's more but if you can put up with what that then you deserve to make that man money

My hubby and I met one of their team drivers and they had rave reviews! Can you tell me more?

They have some nice looking trucks. I believe they're out of Bethel, PA. I guess you gotta follow their rules when hauling that kind of freight. I see em all the time going down towards Memphis.

that says your a KL driver and lover and don't mind eating sleeping and taking a crap in the same space. as for tears buddy nothing was asked for... the writing was on the wall and dealt with a one finger salute out the gate. you deserve not knowing what a good job is grow old fast pissin in a bottle going down the road cuz advil and citracel is considered high security freight and you cant stop. Ive hauled DOD and its not even half as strict

with that said I make in one week what it took 2 weeks at KL and I don't have to run 500 to 600 mile trips and stop at the required stops for 6-8 hours for free before delivering. if that is beauty school then im wearing the skirt all the way to the bank
I just couldn't resist haha -
They have comfy Bose seats.

In response to the original poster, my hubs and I have been teaming at K L Harring for over a year and we are very happy. We are guaranteed mileage which is one less thing we have to worry about. Doesn't matter if we don't get the minimum, not that we have ever run into that, but if it would happen, we are covered. The team rate is the highest that we have ever been paid and lots of perks. Gotta say, no complaints here.
Jlayfield16 and Skydiver Thank this.
