TMC is a great operation if you like to flatbed, strap/tarp and move around at stops.

Anderson...can't say i've heard of them...

Ats anderson is better . Don't even think of their lease deal, its awful and you never get the truck just a 3200 bonus at the end if you are lucky and nothing happened along your way. The company drivers drive new trucks then after a year they lease them out. The company drivers I have met before and after orientation were happy as far as I was told by the ones I have talked to 6 years ago and a few lately. THey make out far better than the lease drivers do_One of my threads will tell you all about my experience with ats as a leasee,I wasted alot of time with them thru orientation, and driving over 400 miles in a rental car to gary in ,only to find a junky tore up truck that I was supposed to lease from them, theres alot more to the story in my posts. Best of luck to you. Go company and you get paid all the miles with alot less to lose.

TMC has got some sharp looking rigs. I have seen a lot of them running freight throughout TX, MO, OK and AR. I dont see too many Anderson down here. If I do, they are ratted out freightliners.

Ok,they are both special in there own way.ADS is more of a cheesehead type of northern exposer and has a great acount of headstone LTL"s and deep oilfield connections.Imagain getting a load (or 2)out of houston 2fairbanks.Anderson was runnin nonstop 2 build the pipeline in mid70"s in (ratted out,if thats somebodys term 4a work truck). cabovers. TMC on the otherhand was just an drem come true in the 70"s and by deregulation(84) was over 100strong and real control freaks.About 1996 they slacked back some and today Im sure either company would be happy 2hire any minium qualified driver.TMC has stong steelmill contacts, used to pay percentage(29%) to driver.Good rate on driver frindley steel/material loads and Top of line equiptment .Both are very good companies, without a doubt.

The ratty looking trucks at anderson are lease purchase trucks, the newer clean trucks are company driver trucks. Will never recommend their lease deal to anyone, its a bait and switch deal on first lease. Why should you lose money and pay them money to take care of their truck that you never own and only get a completion bonus for doing it,along with all the usual, taxes, ssi, etc.,not even worth the time to figure or think about it.

I Also Am A Former Ats (sucker) Lease Operator, What Really Got My Attention Is That Although Its Been 5 Years Since My Short Stay With Ats, I Find That Its Astonishing That The Downright Lying, Cheating And Misinformation Still Continues Unchecked. Ive Been There 61 Mph Trucks (" Im Paying The Lease, I Want My Truck Turned Up") Response "thats All Ya Get" Response "if You Dont Like The (program) Clean Out Your Truck And Find Your Own Way Home" Nice Right! This Was After I Signed Up For Northeast Reigonal, Funny How N.e. Regional Wound Up Being More Midwest Regional Or Whatever Is Convient For Ats At The Time. In Closing Ats Has Access To Alot Of Freight, Im Shure Thay Could Find You A Load Around The Corner From Your House If It Was Convient For Them, Or You (the "new" Ats Lease Operator Still In The "honeymoon" Stage Of Your Employment With Ats. But Than As Soon As You (start Complainin) Than It Becomes The "call Back Every Hour Until Your Sick And Tired Of There B.s.!) Just Make Shure Ya Bring The Truck Back To St Cloud,mn When The Fantasy Is Over And Reality Sets In!

Boy thank you for this input; I was actually thinking about leasing on with ATS. You know it's a shame that these companies can't be at least honest. Do they all think that everyone is ignorant?
