    I am supposed to attend orientation on September 9th at CT Transport but I'm not sure about starting out in an automatic. I have been turned down by TMC and application still in review at Mcelroy is Boyd Bros worth Checking into instead of CT thanks...

    I did not see this post before now. I don't know anything about CT Transport but I do know about Boyd Bros. As a student you would have 1 week orientation, 5 weeks with a trainer, and an additional week of securement training before going to your own truck. My bf has been with them for almost a yr now and couldn't be happier.

    Good luck with whichever company you choose.
