I'm not saying that I paid off the amount, yeah you pay it off over 18 months but we did make enough the first week and a half to pay off the loans if we could. We've been busting our ##### each driving 500 to 650 miles every day, so we are making good money. Hopefully it will keep up when we get our perminant stl. We're using the copilot 9 truckers gps which is helping us get places without getting lost. If you use it make sure you compare it to your company directions when you get close to your destination cause it sends you to the office addresses.

I have a friend who drove for and was trained by Schneider (Granted it was 10 years ago) and left after 9 months and didn't pay a dime.

Heya...Fellow Pumpkin pilot here....
I was looking in to getting copilot...I'm using a run of the mill self contained gps right now and it seems to work fairly well. Like you, I compare the SNI directions with what mine gives and often they vary a little bit. What does copilot have that the run of the mill GPS's dont?
Know this is off thread a bit but am wondering..

thx

Wish me luck.

Well after taking 3 years off the OTR thing. (been doing the local tanker thing, Gas) going back out with Schneider Bulk, Seems like a good outfit, I wonder since I will be driving for Schneider I can't say things like calling traffic cones, "Schneider eggs". Oh well, there loaning me a rental car to drive from Houston to Dallas, And for driving around over the weekend for orientation, sounds like fun.

if you want to know what a company is like don't look at rip off report look at the better business bureau's website. For the last 18000 miles we've drove the copilot has only directed us to go under one low clearance, but you just hit the detour button and it changed the route. that's the difference cause the ordinary gps systems are designed for cars. Also you can select options like route for hazmat or 48, 53, 57 foot trailors.

Thanks for the reply! I've been using a normal ol car gps but don't rely on it too much....I'm going to get copilot for my laptop in the near future...

take care and be safe.

Keep in mind that the BBB is not a gov organization like many believe. Businesses pay money to associate with the BBB. If Bens House of Growth Supplements keeps getting crap from the BBB, they simply drop out. The BBB doesn't really have the power to do anything. Plus, if the BBB keeps harping on Bens store...they know he will eventually get P.O.'d enough and just leave, taking his $$ with him.

home for thanksgiving.

Well i was going to leave out this weekend to start with Schneider, They called last night and told me they felt it would be best if I waited tell next weekend, after thanksgiving, spend time with family before heading out, thought that was very nice. Anyway I have a question, What Is copilot? Since I will be pulling Haz-Mat tankers a system that has Haz-mat routs would be great. Thanks.
