Starting off Right

Good evening,

just graduated from Truck Driving School at Tidewater Community College in Portsmouth,VA. I would like some advise on finding a good company to start my truck driving career and further my learning to become a professional driver. Do anyone know of at least a hand full of companies that would be a good fit for the rookie or newbie driver.

Thank you.

possessed,

I think every company that hires newbie's will ask them to run illegal at one time or another in order to test them, or to see if they what they can do. So I imagine the answer is yes. If they do not, then are very smart.

That is what we call First American Carriers basicly you will get a newer truck a 07 or an 08 t600 or t660 KW and you will have to deal with counting pallets and you must run NYC but you get more home time. To where as OTR no NYC and no dealing with pallets and 4 days home a month.
