Yeah, they are a great company to work for. Working in the lumber industry as a regional driver in the early 90's I met a few folks who pulled for them and always had nothing but great stuff to say. This is the main company I will be going to see after getting my 1 year recent OTR done.

is this the same?

Is this the same Builders Transport who drove the green & gold trucks back in the 80s & 90s? My dad drove for them when he started out driving but he's been retired for a few years now & I thought he told me that they went out of business. I looked up their website & didn't see the old green & gold so is BTC a different company?

no i am glad to say it is NOT the old "Builders Transport" from South Carolina. the green and yellow company went bankrupt due to continuously cutting rates and poor management..."Builders Transportation " has been in buisness in memphis for almost 50 yrs....

Thanks for the info

Thanks for the reply, my dad said the old one was not a good choice...he just used it to get some experiance & moved on. From what I've read, BTC seems to be a pretty good place. I retire from 20 years, 7 months & 19 days of active duty Air Force next month & am looking into driving.

Funny, when I filled out the online app, the reply was--"Welcome from Covenant Transport" Changed my mind REAL quick.
