Schneider pre-work screening

How much time is allowed for this test? I've tried some of the more physical portions and had a heart rate of 109 - I'm 100lbs overweight and just turned 50. If you have to rush and beat the clock then I would expect the rate to rise.

They advertise 35 to 40 a year
My brother drives for them and makes around 40 with over a year under his belt.

There are no time limits. You will do one of the exercises, then they take your pulse and document it...then you move onto the next one. They demonstrate each one before you actually do it so I'd say 1-2 minutes between each one. We had a guy 200lbs overweight and he passed it just fine. If you are only at 109 you'll be fine. My max rate is 162 and I never went over 130 and I'm about 30lbs overweight. My heart rate didn't spike until the last couple of exercises.

Congratulations to all you new hires. Just make sure you know that YOU are the Captain of your ship. Realize that you are the only one that knws what's best for you. Don't let anybody rush you when you are tired. I've been here 15 years at Schneider.
