I thought that today would be a good time to let you all know how hartt folks have treated me. They are fair, don't run you to death ,but, many good miles every week. Home on weekends or during the week, whichever you prefer. I ussually get at least 3000 miles a week or more.Their safety man,and key persons are great, with an open door policy, and the dispatchers are great. I currently work out of the bangor,me. yard. There is a yard in auburn,me. and another in sumter s.c.. If you need a steady income under these trying times with a great running late model freightliner or international, hartt trans is a great place to find happiness in your profession. They require one year experience and you don't need hazmat, although it is useful here. My stepson just started this past month working out of the sumter yard,he has worked for werner, and jb in the past and some others, has about 8 yrs experience,he said quite a few times to me,I can't believe it,I'm making good money, home weekends, very few load changes and no one bothers me. Just wanted to share this testimony with all of you,I wasted many years on other companies only to find dead ends, there are alot of drivers at Hartt that have been here for years, left and came right back and stayed. If you need a job, look them up on the website,Billy Hartt and his Dad,need good drivers like you. They just bought 30 new freightliners and 20 new internationals, well over 400 trucks, plus lease trucks and owner operators, also if you have your own rights and you need a load, our brokers at Hartt can help you, especially in the new england area.I hope it was ok to put this in here. I am just a driver here and I thought I could help Hartt Trans like they help us all here, thanks for reading this, and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

does sound like a recruiter. i live in sumter, sc and see their trucks here alot, especially since i'm out of work right now. haven't gotten any to answer on the cb to chat though.

I am not a recruiter,I actually drive for Hartt out of Bangor Me,actually I got my stepson to come over here also. He loves it,works out of sumter sc terminal, gets 3ooo plus miles a week and gets home every weekend too, like I ussually do. Next week he will be here just over 6 months, driving a 2007 freightliner now and next week he is picking up a brand new one at our bangor yard. I have to say, sumter terminal is running smoother than the two maine terminals we have, they run sumter to upstate ny to maine, reload and back to sumter, drop n hook, take a load home to fl,del,go home for 2 or 3 days and right back out again. Most of the time I am happy here but really after over forty years out here it is hard to please me all the time. You all have a great weekend and a safe one.

yes, Hartt has freight from maine to florida, they will hire your hubby out of the sumter terminal I believe. Give Eric a call there and find out. He would be home every week if he wants to be,ussually unload in fl,and deadhead to sumter to get a loded trailer back to northeast and maine and back down again. My stepson is really happy here at Hartt,he lives in Ocala,he has been with werner,jb,arnold, and some others and loves it here at Hartt. He never thought it could be smooth trucking like he has now. I am sure hubby would like it too.Good luck, let me know how you make out. I would get a 500 referrall but don't worry about that, will be glad I helped you folks on the forum.

I'm Checkin out Hartt Ya the pay and bennies sound good and I'm sure they won't have a hardtime getting me home as compared to the wonderful world of jb does. Equipment sounds good and if you get one of the smaller sleepers you get an additional .05 per mile. Their website is plain and doesn't offer much to drivers though. I got an app on the way so wish me luck. They have to be better than JB (I hope). If anyone has any dirt on these guys let's here it please and asap. keep on truckin safely Dave

Hartt's website is also blocked on my comp. it comes as a malicious site. Go figure I get porn pop ups but something I want to see wont come thru
