Good for hurting and destroying good drivers lives. '' but to each his own",as the immortal bard once said. As u gain experience bud,u'll learn real quick how erroneous your original statement was. Hopefully by then u will have the insight and experience to run away fast.
This is a PERFECT example of one of the biggest problem with most of the negative posts on this site. Here is a driver who was satisfied with Werner for 15 YEARS!!!!!!!! then he is told to leave and he comes on her and says how terrible they are. To add flavor he calls them names, and places all the blame on the company. You just indicted yourself, sir. And most will not believe for a second that the only reason they fired you is for idling in 100 degree cities.

So what we read here is you are either a very gullible person for believing their "lies" for 15 years or you are an extremely slow learner. I doubt it is either of these. Just another typical post of only giving one side of the story and leaving out the majority of the details. We aren't buying it sir! We need Pal Harvey to come along and give us "the rest of the story."

Obviously it was other reasons. Reasons unknown.

15 years and then the BOOT sounds sort of like being married for 15 years then divorced because you burnt the toast , more to it than over idle time.

I'm definately gonna steer clear of Werner myself... even if they are in good shape financially, and their stock is doing well... it's on the backs of the Drivers.

Definately going to look more closely at Roehl, Conway Truckload and Maverick as options....

The first question to ask when you call one of these companies is whether they hire in your area. You'll narrow your options rather quickly this way since you will find you are north of many company hiring areas.

Actually I'm just within Maverick's hiring area.... 10 miles North of here, and I'd be SOL...

probably means it'll affect my hometime if I go with them.... yes?
