Thumbs up Werner is a good company

I have nothing bad to say about Werner I drive a 2007 Pete and have a great disptcher. Anyone out there who thinks you can just sit on your butt and make money as a trucker get a clue it is long hrs and hard work. I MAKE VERY GOOD MONEY at WERNER and all the drivers out there that I have met that #### about Werner, and everything else most are so stupid they cant even figure out when there drive hours are up for the day that they must stop driving for DOT regulations. To all the Werner Drivers out there who weathered the ice storms and didnt wreck there trucks myself included ( 4 states 8 days in storm ) GREAT JOB. I only saw one Werner truck on my travels on 70 and 80 in the ditch and it was a day cab still upright unlike MANY other Swift, Prime and O/O trucks. SO in closing I feel Werner is a great company. Next time before you talk #### about me or any other Driver just because of who we drive for just think about when and where you started off at. Just my thoughts and KEEP IT SAFE. Rubber side DOWN Mike

Wow,how will I ever get the minute of my life back that was spent reading your post? You talk about people being stupid cause they cant add up their hours, yet you cant put a sentence together...I see you have not been driving long...Before you say you have driven longer then me,I do have a year in..368 days of driving into places that would probably make you cry day in and day out. There is no place you have driven through that rivals where I have driven through in Iraq...Let me guess ,you are pobably a cb ranger also???Just to let you know, this is one of the few truck driver forums where most drivers still feel part of a brotherhood and try to look out for others...Why come on here just to make people mad???If you like werner fine, but dont put people down........And I do believe this is the first "good" post about werner......

I am not putting people down I was refering to the people who give me #### all day long because I drive for Werner ( and all the stupid ppl who work for Werner ) I dont talk #### on the C.B. because I cant stand to listen to the CB because of all the #### ppl are always talking. I think you must feel you at sometime might have been or are one of thoses ppl. I didnt say I was better than you and I for one support my troops past and presant. All you hear all day long is how all the Werner Drivers suck and are stupid so on and so on. I for one am not and I work hard and stay out long periods of time. Thanks for your thoughts but I have the right to express my thoughts also.

Have a good day.

Leave the super trucker attitude at the door. It won't get you very far on this forum.

Exactly. You sound like an angry kid who's trying to justify what he does. Just be nice, okay? Say you like Werner, good job to other drivers, and keep the insults out of it.

I have never driven for Werner,so I cant say they are good or bad. However here is someone posting who happens to like them. I say good for him,as he is right on a lot of points.Trucking is a whole different life, and your work ethics, and attitude have a whole lot to do with how you make out. I find it quiite nice to read a post about someone who is happy with their job.Hang in there driver.

Norther, you're not the only one who likes Werner. My dad's been driving for them for 5 1/2 years. He ran a dedicated Con-Agra route with a reffer as well as 48 states with a van trailer. Now he is shuffling trailers around KC in a day cab because he needs to be home every nigh for my mom, but he is staying with Werner and he has never had a complaint. They have always given him the miles he needed and the help he asked for. I plan on starting with Werner this summer as soon as I get out of the Air Force and go through truck driving school. Are you running 48 or dedicated?

I run 48 and Canada. Be safe in your travels and thank you for your service to OUR country so we can still HAVE THE RIGHT to share our thoughts and ideas. Werner will put you through a lot to see if they can break you and weed out the weak but hang in there and it will be worth your time.

i have to agree with brickman .. please leave the super trucker attitude at the door ... that is the only thing i dont like about the forums is when a super trucker has the attitude ...

what i do like best about this forums are the help that the experienced drivers give to the unexperienced to try and keep them safe and moving along...

there is not 1 truck driver out there in this world who can say that they know everything or seen everything in this idustry because that is just a flat out lie and an attitude i dont care to read about...

i had some great advise from my former employer before he passed away, he told me once when i started for him that he has been driving for 40 years and he still doesn't even come close to knowing everything and will never know everything that he is just happy to relay his experiences to the ones who havent drove for long ... or is just starting out... i have been drving 1 month short of 8 yrs and find this forum to be interesting and imformative ...

First off I am not an angry kid, second if you think I am putting people down next time you hear someone talking bad about a Werner Driver or any other large company driver who is not doing anything wrong and is out there just like you making a living why not say something about it. I get Drivers talking #### to me non stop because I drive for Werner and I dont speed or drive like the other guy said a " Super Trucker ". So my truck isnt as fast but to all the ppl who talk non stop trash I was giving a little of it back. I guess I am not allowed to defend myself and everyone else is allowed to talk #### on the CB, Truck stop and Internet. I would love to see this brotherhood that was mentioned. I havent seen it, all though I do stop and help all Drivers from all companys and O/O when I can. Just my thoughts.
