Thumbs up Grandma Debi finds the best Apple Pie in the World

Update from Grandma Debi...

Wow! I have found the best #1 resturant in the country.... This place has wonderful homemade food and the
absolute BEST APPLE PIE IN THE WORLD probably worth a detour or side trip.

It is in Nevada on I 15 just north of I 40 on ghost town road.... a 50's dinner. ( you will thank me for this one!) REALLY GOOD!!!

Tell them Grandma Debi sent you!

I had a chance to meet up with Virgil in Idaho at 4 am!!!! Virgil will finish CAT on the 4th or the 5th I should be back on the 7th. We will have one more day of class and then I have to get to Colorado and take care of my license as it will expire from Utah in less than 12 days!!!

Driving today through Iowa headed for New York again.

HAPPY SUNDAY to ALL

Be Blessed!!!
Grandma Debi
still on her truckin adventure in the big red CR England Truck!

Smile UPDATE Some times grandmadebi doesn't know where she is in that CR England Truck

Greetings everyone!!!

I was so happy to tell you all where to find the Worlds best apple pie that I sent you all to Nevada when I was really in CA.......

Sorry about the detour! Pie is working looking to find.... Still the best resturant "trucker friendly" I have seen out here on the road!

I am very happy to tell you all I made into Colorado today by way of Kansas and I got my drivers license all fixed for Colorado now....

Tonight we are enroute to Salt Lake City by way of Ft Collins this means I will be back in Salt Lake city by tomorrow sometime! Yeah for me CAT will then be complete.

I also want you to know about a nice clean truck stop with special showers like rain water out of the ceiling clean and nice!!! located @exit 252 off I70 in Kansas the I think!!!

Please watch for an important post "and now for the rest of the story" coming soon!

Happy and blessed truckin
Grandma Debi

I think I've been to this eatin' trough. I'm trying to remember where it is, exactly. It's not really close to I-40 if it's in Nevada, though. I remember the Mad Greek in Baker, Cally (at the foot of Baker grade) pretty well. I liked stopping in at that place, especially when it was 110 degrees outside.

I think I've been to that stop in Kansas, too.

Yeah I drive a Swift truck
And that means one thing
It means she's slow
It's a typical company truck
It's just all show and no go

I'm gettin' passed by Yella
And even Overnite
I'm gettin' passed by ever' body in sight
46 days on the road
And I'm not gettin' home tonight

No, my hometown's nowhere in sight
And if you think I'm pissed off
You're right
46 days on the road
And I'm not gettin' home tonight

Love pissing off those trucking company insiders.

Smile grandma Debi is back in Salt Lake

CAT is OVER!!!

Only a short time to finish the required in class time and then Virgil and I will be meeting friends and family in Colorado to plan what we will do with CR England next. One thing is since so many seem to believe I have the gifts and talents to recruit I will be gaining that certification as well.

I had some sour note folk on another thread tell me that my love story with Virgil is "over the top" WOW so por ole graany can drive a truck but she is too old, feeble minded, and dried out to find a love story.

What da ya think????

I have had a good time reading and writing and wish you all the best life has to offer. Thank you! Thank you! To everyone one who encouraged me in any small way or who offered REAL advice. Especially those like wise one who helped save me from Stevens!

Bless you today and tomorrow and forever! (eternity)

Still smiling # CR England Salt lake City UTAH

Debi
