Stan Koch and Sons
I am wondering if anyone on here has heard of Stan Koch and Sons? I usualy see them going down I-95 with a Best Buy trailer behind the tractor which is a Volvo. I know the following about them:

Based out Ardmore, OK that has flatbed, regional (dedicated), local, and OTR. The fleet of tractors is Volvos and Sterlings with some other brands. Koch companies has a terminal in Davenport FL for Best Buy regional operation.

Please keep in mind no similiar threads about this company came up in search engine. My main reasoning for this thread to find out about their good qualities.

Before I started trucking, I worked for Best Buy.KOCH used to haul alot for BB and I assume still does, what you're seeing in FLA is probaly trucks running out of an appliance DC and running regional.I know they also used to be part of Nationalease and would lease/supply trucks to businesses, way back in the day when we had problems with our delivery truck KOCH is who we would call to get things fixed.I am just going by past exerience(going on 9yrs since I worked for BB)so take the above with a grain of salt!!!Have a good night.

Koch has a facility here in Lawrence, KS (eastern Kansas by KC) but I don't know anything about them. I stopped in 2 years ago when I was job hunting, but did not want to OTR.

hey kinghunter, have you found any good info on them??? i'm looking at them myself and can't find too many people that know a whole lot about them....

been there done that and will be back
Best company I ever worked for however, I have worked van flat and a dedicated account van was ok flat was the best till they moved it to minneapolis, then it was pretty good and the dedicated was the best long haul job in trucking. I did get hurt last aug and have been off since then but if I get well I will be back there. They will work with you to get you what you need if you are professional and deal that way

Well I am deciding between them if they will take me after truck driving school, Southern cal and Con way. I know they have best buy contract out of Davenport, FL.
