Need advise

Well, I've been out of the truck for almost 10 years now. I know times have changed and want to feel comfortable with the decision I'm making.
My past experience was with flats, drops and detachables....I remembered ATS from back then and applied with them. Tracy at ATS was able to verify my experience and I was accepted. She was able to get me a higher starting rate at .36 a mile. Just needed a refresher course which I found I could take at a tech school here for a week. Great right?

Shortly after, I was also hired by a nationwide contracting company to haul equipment and supplies to jobsites throughout the country. They are based 3 miles from my home. Starting at $17/hr, stay in motels on the road (motels and evening meal paid for by company), health insurance included at no cost-(and it is great insurance, $500 ded, $40 copays, med card). They also have a matching 401k and will additionally put in $1.00 per hour you've worked for the entire year in it.
I'm going with the contracting company, yet I'm not totally convinced I've made the right decision. This should be a no brainer, just want to feel I'm not cutting myself short.

Sound like a no brainer to me. Free health insurance is worth your weight in gold if it's good insurance.

Go research ATS posts on this site, I'm sure it will reinforce your decision
