A brokered load... good luck with that one.
Ya, I saw that Conway message too, and was thinking the same thing.
Sittin for the night near New Stanton PA. Pickin up at our drop yard in Orient OH tomorrow then on to Allentown. Been skirting these rain storms for the past few days. Feels like I'll catch some more rain tonight. Been running splits for the past few days trying to make some tight appointments. Should be nice to be on a lazy schedule tomrrow.
Had a beer run a few days ago. At the 99 ran into 2 other central drivers. One a long time vetran driver, the other a newbie with 1 month solo under his belt. He had a lot of questions about trip planning that we tried to assist with. Ironically the newbie and I were at the same exit but different truckstops. He started complaining about the lizards persaverence at the t/s he was at. So I gave him some info on other places where there are multiple t/s's where the safer(?) places were.
Time to go eat... Drive safe out there y'all.

Those conway loads... if we are given one we are supposed to mac 11 AND call our FM... WTF. He knows we have it. He is the one that sent us the info! Why do we need to call?
Almost forgot... Today I was coming down I 40 into NC and after the required stop for trucks at the top of the hill before goin down. 3 of us are going down slow. then all of a sudden we see Swifty flying past us... the other drivers told him to slow down but he kept going... near the bottom we started smelling brakes. Around the corner there he was pulled over because his brakes were getting too hot. lol

Dang, but I sure am getting tired of these night drives. Day time sleeping really sucks for me. Get a couple of hrs here, a couple of hrs there, and never, ever feel refreshed. Good thing I ain't traveling in MI with their silly OOS rules. Would be OOS for caffeine for sure!!!!
This run is a short 1, less than 400 miles and doesn't deliever till 1300 tomorrow. Then its off to Dodge City for a 3 dropper. Beginning to think that with all the time I spend in Dodge, I ought to just buy a TT and put it on my cousins land.

WELL Lets see, this week has started off like this.... Rearended by another big truck, reefer broke down, and now a flat on the trailer. Ready to push this #### trailer over a cliff!!! Instead I am getting the tire changed, but it has killed me, I was hoping to drop early!!! Oh well, Its All Good!!! Have to get some crap some of the time, never fails, it always comes around in this business.

Oh yeah, BTW, SAFETY WILL KEEP ME POSTED ON ACCIDENT, IF IT IS ON A SAFETY RECORD WITH ANY POINTS, I WILL SUE FOR DAMAGES TO ME!!!
