I changed my start date to April 27th. I realized that 2 days between leaving my day job and leaving for SLC was not enough time for me to take care of things here at home. I am thinking about driving to SLC rather than ride the bus. It's about a 17 hour drive, but the bus takes 30 hours! My brother in law is coming to stay with us for a while so I can have hime come along and drive the car back.

My wife asked me this morning on the way to work if I was getting excited about putting in my notice. Yep! If I didn't need to wait until the 30th, I'd be gone now.

Waka Waka.

We just got back from having breakfast w/ JJ and Cory and figuring out the cb thing. It was the cb so we got him a new one. So now just got to get an inverter and he's good to go! Oh and he wants more pillows now. Good god does he want a maid! LOLOLOLOLOLOL

I figure since my house is 20 minutes away from the IA80 TS I can go there and get my truck equipped with CB, cooler Laptop stand etc. Can you tell me how many power outlets the truck has? I already have a car adapter for my laptop as well as my phone. That takes up 2 (of course the phone will only be plugged in when needed). Thanks.

I would try the Flying Hook or a TA as the Iowa 80 is a pretty truck stop but they are usually a little more expensive.

Some of those things you can get on ebay for half the price of a truck stop.

Wally world has good deals on Coolers.

AH, but some of the stuff I want will need to be installed. While I am perfectly capable of doing it myself, I do not enjoy this kind of thing. This usually results in shoddy work. I would rather pay someone to do it for me. I don't know if they do these kind of installs at the local hook. I'll check into it. Most of the laptop stands I see involve unbolting the jumpseat to install. Plus, I am not real good with electrical. I remember a really nice CB I had for about 2 hours, then I hooked the power up backwards w/o a in-line fuse. You are probably right on the cooler, cheaper at Wally world.
