Central don't take students from other schools right now.

you pay 1200 for the school in sac. central pays for the school up front and you pay central back $25 a week for the 1 year req. sounds like the same deal. i'm doing good thanks for asking and yourself?

the school itself is like 3000 i believe. but if you look at the central website, it shows down below their school locations that all of their schools are contracted by truck driving academy of sacramento.

Hello everyone! I am new here. My husband just starting with Central. He is still with his trainer in his 3rd week. He attended school in SLC. We live in Tennessee. He had no problem and aced through school. He has a great trainer. He has a friend he made at school he keeps in touch with and he has a nightmare story of a trainer! He is on his second. I am actually going to Conley tomorrow to stay a couple nights. They have a preset there. His trainer lives a couple hours away. This has been an experience for me. We have 8 kids! One is away in college. So my house is crazy! And without daddy home it's a little crazier right now. But I'm a strict mama so they tow the line. I'm really glad I found this site. Makes me feel more in the loop while he is gone. My husband is 39 a Gulf War vet (USMC). He seems to really like it out there.

God Bless!

Hi LadyElite. Welcome to our little corner of the truckers Forum, I am glad your Hubby got a great trainer, one hears so many horror stories about trainers.

My Fiance was in the Military for 15 years, got out July 2007, and we have three 4 legged kids and I'm afraid to say I'm not a strict mama, but I suppose with 8 kids you have to have to be a lil strict or it would be a mad house LOL.

But since the school starts on the 2nd and i dont have anything to stand in the way in feb. my only prob is im in the air national guard and i have drill once a month, with 2 drills being in march. course i can always make them up, but is central good at getting me either home or atleast close to where my drills are in oxnard, ca. kinda need to know this before i put in my 2 weeks notice at my dead end min wage job!

We have a terminal in fontana, CA you should be able to get home regular to do your drills, As a company driver. as a lease operater it might be alittle harder. just put in your home time request so that your home time will start a day before your drill. hope this helps JJRanch.
