i think im gonna buy a dash cam next week and post some of the crap these crazy 4 wheelers do on facebook! LOL Not to mention im tired of safety QCing me saying that I am braking too hard and need to slow down and increase following distance when a crazy 4 wheeler cuts in 4 feet in front of my bumper at a red light because they didnt want to be the 2nd car in the left lane.

I was talking to a crete driver a few weeks ago and he was telling me how that Bendix radar system works. He was saying that the closer the vehicle cuts in front of you the harder the brakes come on and a car cutting 4 feet in front will be short of locking up the brakes. Im sure safety will have fun with that one!

mikley28, went the other way. Picked up a load at our yd in Olathe and am now sitting in Ogallala, NE. Had to swap my original load for another going to the same place. Mine was supposed to be there today but....... because of that fiasco yesterday, plus the fact I can't legally do anywhere close to 700 miles..... oh well.

That Granite City to Avon was the back haul of my dedicated route. I would run Avon to Independence Missouri for the other leg. You will probably get that on the way back.
It is a good loop, as long as you do not mind the cave in Independence.

That is possible, but my planner/dm likes to send me to Lowville, NY and back to Norcross.

Either way is ok with me..

How did everything go with your trainer? Those times always seem to make for interesting stories. But, it must not have been too difficult, since here you are all on your own now.
Trainer wasn't to bad, didn't have any problems with other than directions for stuff ... i would swear i understood where he wanted me to go only to find out at the last second i was completely wrong. So nothing too bad. He did buy me half a dozen meals on the road, which was helpful. Other students that through Fontana from Modesto and Sacramento TDA schools didn't have a problem with their trainers either. One guys trainer bought him meals the whole time and then got him a CB and GPS when he finished training (trucker life handed to you on a golden platter) ... n e how driving a Volvo right now, although not to worry give it a couple months Ill probably have a newer truck as the Freightlinners start rolling in.
