Central is a big lie and if you look around hard enough you will find companies that don't charge for idle time and even some with APUs not to mention email, games. sat. radio and more plus better pay. If you think that they have more miles that may be true but if you are paid more a mile why put up with paying for comfort? Here's a good example for company drivers...new co. gets you 2200 miles a week # .35 =$770 Central gets you 2700 # .29 =$783...they can keep their 500 miles for an extra $13 plus i don't have to deal with jerks like Cole Thompson and the majority of the management their. Some great folks in this organization but they are few and far between.
Not true... I've have repowered loads and have had to be repowered. I got a under idle bonus last week.

I guess I must be the only one with a great dm, decent runs, decent equipment and getting home when I want to.

Not saying Central is perfect, but from my perspective they aren't all that bad either. Furthermore the folks at Conley have been nothing but nice including Cole.
I have a feeling that this guy is one of the ones that Cole was telling us about today, (not using any names) but they don't keep care of their truck, then they come in and expect to get a newer truck that is in better shape and they get turned down. Some quit and go off running home to mommy crying about how bad Central is....

we are all doing good and yea georgia got the #### kicked out of it by the weather last night. made a run up to atl today and on i 75 at the 173 mm the place has been absolutly flatened. the town of ringgold was wiped off the map along with half of jasper. the t/a and pilot up in cartersville had trucks thrown around like toys. i now have a whole new respect for mother nature. and also the tornado that hit tuscaloosa alabama was 1 mile wide and traveled 200 miles on the ground thru norther ala, ga ,tn, and nc

1bad, sorry to tell you, but reports were 1/2 mile wide, and yes the system wiped out quite a bit, but while one was hitting in tuscaloosa, it was a different one almost wiped our son off the road and took out a lot in harvest, and about an hour later one was wiping out the civic center and other things in rainsville, al, where 25 died in a trailer park. It wasn't one, just one storm system that produced more tornadoes than where believable. Our daughter's friends house is gone, several businesses in the area, it is unreal. We sent the kids to nashville to try to escape some of the crap that will happen. No power for 5 -7 days. The water in some places is out. This system was the same system that dropped a tornado in dallas. The flooding is bad. I am sorry, I just don't want someone to think the same tornado ran 200 miles on the ground, because it just didn't.

Btw, we met lady k and klingon. Sorry to have talked y'alls ears off.

I ran over 9k miles in a month and was told not enough for the idle bonus and that's not the Cole in Conley and i cannot changeout turbos, replace major parts or find a/c refrigerant leaks in a rig and neither can the shop in Conley so i don't think taking care of the truck was an issue. I found a company that pays .35 actual miles + issued a credit card to fuel where and when i want and pay for motels and food with no governor on the tractor all drop/hook loads no qualcomm no pressure or suprises super nice folks in a recessionproof industry. I am a good driver who acts very professional but was treated like trash by the management at Central and some of the night/weekend dispatchers in Salt Lake. I just wanted to inform anyone that might be thinking about going with Central and anyone already there that if you look hard enough you can find a much better outfit to drive for. Loyalty to your boss is an admirable thing but considering how low the pay is and my personal experiences, i find it to be kinda puzzling. Good luck to all and stay safe.
