We have a drop yard in Chicago now? I need to start paying better attention. Do we still pick up at the tootsie roll plant in Chicago? I used to love that place-- almost always drop and hook.
Yeppers, We use the Central Freight yard.

Yep we do pick up at Tootsie roll place as far as JJ knows.

HMMMMM No company trucks available???? That seems odd they usually have trucks sitting in West Valley or Conley, maybe with the Economy less drivers are quitting.

Hey CRS folks I went through the school last month and have been with OTR Trainer since Saturday. So far I've been pleased with the school, staff, and my trainer. I'm lucky I'm a Utah local and he has a dedicated route to SC and back. I think the worst thing so far is when I go to upgrade (or...you could say downgrade) I'll have to go from a new Pete to a Volvo. But we're supposed to be getting Prostars within the next few months so I can always hope lol.

Lucky, ya we have heard about the prostars. I wouldn't get your hopes up, they will run all the Volvos into the ground before they turn them in & the best way to do that is to give them to the newbies.

Today as I was heading out of Conley I noticed a damaged truck sitting on the line of trucks waiting for loads. As I walked by I asked if the driver had just been upgraded & he said yes. I took a second look at the drivers side front fender & told him he got screwed, it looked like it had been hit with a electric sander. The paint was wrecked & the mirror was GONE!, all that was there was the bottom leg support & two big holes where it used to be...

And some people wonder why I'm leaving.
