And they still refuse to give him a new dispatcher. He left Atlanta today with a load going to Nashville. Got half way there got a pre-set going from Nashville to Ne. Funny thing is though it picked up today and delivers on Tuesday when the load he has with him now can't be delivered till tomorrow because they aren't even open today. No way he can run over 800 miles in one day. I swear sometimes dispatch is smoking crack rock on their breaks. I am sure when his reg F/M comes in tomorrow he will say sorry you have to sit now b/c you refused a load. It wouldn't be the first time he has done this to 1bad. Even though the last time he already had a load on his truck that he had just picked up and had to run 2300 miles with it. Maybe it's just me but I find it hard (impossible) to pull 2 trailors at the same time to opposites sides of the country. Ok that's my steam for today anyway.............LOLOLOLOL
If he is out of Conley then he might not get to far away, for some reason I have come across more then a few drivers out of there that complian about not getting out of the area. I have no idea why it would be a problem, it must just be the way that the folks down there run the place. They seem to run toatlly diffrent then the rest of the company... I like them because they have gotten crap done for me every time I have asked.

Yep like Jess said he is dispatched out of WVC! I just swear to God sometimes I think his F/M is the head crack dealer of the bunch. He must of been a weekend dispatcher and not that long ago is best I come up with..lolololol (oops was I wrong for saying that? Oh well that's my story and I'm sticking to it!)

I'll be in Tolleson Wednesday 7/1. Then headed home. Been out since Memorial day. I hope my wife remembers who I am!

Thanks Brickman. Kind of confirmed what I thought about working West. So what's LA for Central, like going to FL? can't get back out? I was always able to get out of there with Oak Harbor doubles and Fedex. I'd have thought Rancho Cucamonga would get you some Fritos.. or some garlic, or somethin to get out on..

Portland's ok out on the island and down on the river, but getting anywhere off the freeways always made me feel like I should NOT be driving a big truck there... wherever that was... the truck stops by the bridge were nice... but ZOOS.

Seattle was ok, out in Auburn, Renton and Kent was good. FIFE SUCKED EVERY TIME. Getting out to Issaquah and North Bend.... what... was that a LOGGING road?? My best adventure was dragging a 53' up (what are those hills, like 10*? ) to the hospital, trying to punch a 53' into a hole at a hospital meant for a pup without crushing any 4wheelers, and when that didn't work, dragging it back down to the waterfront to get the load split at a forwarder...a wonder I didn't kink the trailer into the sleeper on the intersections on the downhill... always an adventure.

River Runner, you just dead head back out by Laughlin?

Anyway.. thanks again. Look forward to getting back in it.
I noticed after I looked at how damn heavy those Lone Stars are...so who can use them?

Usually I get a load into the Fontana area and bobtail home. This time I'll be dragging an empty trailer home with me from Tolleson. Might have something to do with the fact I'll be almost a week late getting home.

I hope I can get the trailer onto my lot without taking out my chain link fence.

He might want to check & see if he somehow got put down as a regional driver. I know that it is very unlikely, but this is Central so you never know.

LA is kinda of off & on. I have drops out there from time to time, but not too often. I just end up deadheading back to the Fontana yard when I have to go out there.

Rancho Cucamonga is pretty much the same as LA. We get some loads out of Jenny Craig, but other then that I don't think we get too much from there. Our two main places is Nestle & Millard in Ontario, half the damn Central trucks in SoCal sit there every damn day.

There was this place I delivered to in Portland one time, I get off the freeway & stop. I look around & say to myself "Riiiggghhhttt", so I slid the tandems all the way forward. Get to my turn & there just isn't a way for this to go down good. Now mind you I slid those damn things all the way forward & I still rubbed the poll, then as soon as I made the right I had to make a left & did the same thing all over again.

We have a drop yard in Auburn, WA... Not the best, but its a place to park.

Almost nobody can use those Lone stars, thats why they are trying to cut the weight as much as they can. They now mount the fuel tanks as far forward as they can go, but then they run heavy on the steers & it still doesn't even help that much.
