If understanding the plan at Central correctly, you HAVE to spend 90 days as a company driver anyway. Would probably not otherwise, and probably will start looking into any lease takeovers I run across while training and doing my requisite 90, at least on a "shopping" basis until close to time to lease. Not sure what "visit the truck stops" means. When at a truck stop, I have fueled, gotten maintenance, washed and tossed the ball to the dog, grilled some steaks, shopped for a minute or two, showered, eaten, and slept. Visiting is rarely on the agenda. Don't want to be thought of as anti-social, but I tend not to "visit" much. LOL Don't want to overstate it, but I've been on all three sides, trainee, company, and lease operator before. It's been a while, and it wasn't all that long, but I've got a pretty good idea what I'm getting into. Not that I'm a know it all, or that I think I don't have a lot to learn out there... I do, and I appreciate any and all input I can get. Need more recent and more specific training/familiarization with central and the new HOS, etc., that's for sure. | Lease end buyout Does anyone KNOW how much the lease end purchase costs are on average? I know it would vary based on the truck model, mileage, etc.. Just looking for a ballpark figure for my "savings plan"! |

| They SAY that so they can charge whatever they want. How the heck are you supposed to plan THAT? LOL Anyone have any experience or knowledge of the actual $$ amounts at CR? FMV looks to be about $35K-$45K for a 4-5 yr old W900 in the REAL world. |
