The central truth

i thought the world of trucking should know just how wrong central ref. svrs are. DID YOU KNOW if you are on coors you will no longer get paid fuel surcharge on all those dead head miles you do so much of ?? DID YOU KNOW that coors is still paying central the surcharge central has just decided not to pass it on to you?? DID YOU KNOW for you company drivers there is no more on time bonus? there is no more detention pay?? DID YOU KNOW that our dispatchers that cared about us because they were getting bonuses and commission will no longer get there bonus or commissions and they are layiong off dispatchers too?? SO now we will have under paid and over worker dispatchers, are they still going to care if you sit or have a load??? DID YOU KNOW that new students that are coming in and being told that they will make 450. for the first 2 weeks and 500. for the 2 weeks after that will now be only getting 425. all four weeks??? DID YOU KNOW they are still telling new students that they will start them at .29 a mile and really paying them .20 a mile?? who can make a living on that?? DID YOU KNOW if you come to work for central ref srv you better buy K-Y by the case cause you will need it daily when they ##### you over and over. So I hope you enjoy your stay with central.

OK Wife-of-an-angel, I think everyone gets it!! triple post saying the same thing!

As far as I know Central are no where near going Bankrupt its a bad economy, changes are being made to save money!

I have only heard of one person being sent home for what I thought was a crappy reason and that was CColvin and apparently he got some Menopausal Biotch who said he was lifting the weight wrong!

The rest either failed the Pee test, blood pressure or lied on there app!!!!!

Central is a starter company!!

They don't just send you home for no reason, So guys stop second guessing yourself!

Hey Jess, you asked me why I would want to work for Central instead of working for my families trucking company...I've been working for my family in our boat dealership for 5 years, it's tough (and not much fun) working for them. They expect me to do a lot more than the other guys for the same, or in some cases less, money on a very consistent basis. Anyway the company is an LTL carrier in CA. If I go drive I want to go OTR for a couple years then go local and make the better money.

Sigh....

According to the email I received and a subsequent phone call, it is not because they decided to not train next week, it's because of the holiday on Monday and they were not able to get the doctors to come in on Tuesday and to make sure that students were not shorted a day of training.

Requirements for panic mode do not seem to be met.
